Pocket Legends

Hello everyone, i'm Shine, atleast i used to be, then my name got sniped, now i'm not entirely sure what to call myself anymore.

I've been wanted to write this a long time now, and i think now is the time.

"Pocket Legends has been for me like that perfect summer at camp. I came here knowing no one, i was scared, scared of all the new people, scared of what might be. But then there was this one kid who came up to me, a guy with big glasses, and braces, who was just looking for a friend, he changed my entire summer.

Even though i made countless other friends, learned so much from talking to others from all over the world, this one kid was always my best friend. We did everything together, and we helped eachother fight the bullies when needed. He wasn't perfect, neither was i, but at camp, all our problems went away. We forgot about our troubles at home, maybe we had little friends, maybe our parents were fighting alot, but it didn't matter that summer, because we all had eachother.

Oh we did so much, all the memories can not be measured in screenshots, and i will never forget all the friends i made at camp, nor the fun we had. It was the perfect summer, everyone loved it. We discovered new things, we had ups and downs, but we were always there for eachother, and no matter wether or not there was someone at home to talk to or share our stuff with, at camp there was always someone who would listen.

We did so much fun stuff, we taught eachother so much, we learned stuff from the other kids from all over the world, they taught us about different languages, and different cultures. What i learned at camp i will always have with me in life.

As all things that summer had to end, and eventually it did. Me and my friend have been sitting down here by the lake, skipping rocks, for a long time now. We both know our parents are up by the road in their cars waiting for us annoyingly, but we have a hard time leaving. My friend recently told me it was his time to get up and go home, and i know i should as well. Nothing is forever, not even the peftect summer, and it had to come to an end.

Some of us had to leave early, some, like me, stayed longer because they had a hard time to let go, but one thing is for sure, we will never forget. We will all get out there in life, have jobs, families, hell, kids of our own, but we will always keep in mind, that one perfect summer.

My parents are honking the horn again, my friend is getting up, i think it is about time for me to leave, after i skip this one last rock."

This post is dedicated to my best friend, and even though i know you will never love me as much as i love you, i will miss you.
