Buy arcane staff or keep mythic?

I was wondering if I should buy arcane dragon staff
Or keep my mythic wisdom gun
Honestly I don't like staff
But if it's better i will buy it
Is the staff for pve or pvp? Or both?

We'll to be honest I don't like the proc? Why? Cause you gotta hold the attack button to summon the circle which adds damage and it uses mana....that's all I've heard and the gun you just auto attack and it will summon without holding it which is advantage , but staff has good stats with stats my mages reach 1k DMG instantly but idk I'm just giving you my opinions

It was pointed out to me that u lose 200dmg on your skill attacks with the staff.
It comes down to survival (25% dmg reduction on charge) vs killing (+7dmg on proc)
I'm keeping gun.
