i was wondering why are talon wing sets better then a bow i tried a recon bow for a while then got a wing and a jeiwl theifs platnum talon and BAM better damage and faster kills. what gives?

Bows and Talons at that level pretty much have the same damage, the only difference is range. As you get into higher levels though. You will notice a huge difference between a talon and bow bird. Bow birds will kill a lot faster, with the exception of the Sentinel Talon bird, which kill pretty dawn fast, despite lower damage.
