Well for the daily Orc tag quest "The fight continues" you have to kill 3 ren'gol bosses and when you kill Northal, it counts. So I'm sure you're fine.

It wasn't always like that. The King started to count as a "boss" after a few weeks (or more?) Sts made the change after people complained here at forum about "king doesn't count as a boss in the daily quest".. So yea, I would also like to know if they counted him in yet this time..
