does Client 1.5 means that season8 ends too?

Hello i was wondering if with the new client 1.5 will end a season 8 too.. Any ideas?

Highly doubt it, since new expansion is already coming soon.

As far as I understand, seasons are represented by level caps. So, season 8 will end the day the new expansion starts.

I also thought that the season number related to level caps. However if this were the case:

Level Cap 16 = Season 1, LC21 = S2, LC26 = S3, LC31 = S4, LC36 = S5, LC41 = S6, LC46 = S7.

Thus by this method, it should currently be Season 7, unless I have missed something (which is quite possible).

When Planar Tombs were introduced, s7 ended So 41 was the level cap for two seasons.
