Due to posting limit I can't start a new thread, so not sure where to ask this, but I need help! I'm a level 36 rogue and I'm running the build laid out by the Trinity Knights guild and it seems really good. Problem is I seem to be spending more on potions per day than I am earning. Will this even out? Am I doing something wrong? Playing in too high of a level map? Currently in Tindrin. Any help is appreciated. Oh and IGN is Delilahbea. Anyone can hit me up if they want to play!
Hi, I'm glad our build guide is helpful, thanks for mentioning it. Unfortunately rogue is the thirstiest class and no matter how high your level you're going to guzzle pots like a fish because our skills have short cooldown time. There are some small ways this can be alleviated, but there are no sure fire cure. You just have to live with it.
OK some ways to help with the pot situations:
1. Make sure your Knowledge and Might passive is maxed out 5/5 to help you get more HP and mana
2. Use potency gear. Potency gear has INT stat that will help boost your mana. If you're worried that going all potency means less HP, mix in some brutality type gear.
3. Use pets that give you a lot of INT as well as DEX. Malison is a good example.
4. Water jewel is supercheap. Use one high tier jewel (for example one superb water) in your gear to help you with mana.
5. Some cheap pets like Jack and Nexus can help refill your mana. I don't know if you have them, but Konga and Valkin, two elite achievement pets, can help you in the mana department as well. They are not preferred pets in more difficult and elite maps, but when you're just running normal maps for xp and jewel/locked farming these pets can help bring costs down somewhat.
6. Having Ethyl when you level up is great, not only because it gives INT but it slows down mobs and applies damage to them so you use less pots killing them.
7. Tindirin is still a little too challenging for level 36 if you're not geared to the teeth. Track back to Shuyal if you still want to farm primary jewels but the mobs are easier to kill.

No problem. Just one more thing. When you're running PvE maps, never ever ask mage for mana. Don't make it a habit to rely on other class healing you.
Unfortunately the money making opportunities are few and far between lately. I would suggest doing the dailies to keep you in pots, farm lockeds when Klaas/Shazbot gives you reroll elixir, keep an eye on CS, make good use of events like the upcoming egg event to make some money. The road to endgame rogue can be costly and frustrating, but we have better flexibility when it comes to farming endgame content (including events). Enjoy the process. Know your class, celebrate every victory, every boss that you can solo, every locked, every dragkin tooth, every jewel, your first OP legendary pet, your first mythic pet, your first mythic gear, etc. It's not an instant journey, but you can still enjoy every step that will take you to your goal.
Mana problems? In easy maps I use "Haunted" ring and maybe a mana regen pet. Jack also does excellent, but stats on it is bad.
