Mage gear question

I know this should probobly go in the mage build section but i figured id have better luck in a response here.

So i have been kinda out of the loop since the expansion and was wonder for a maxed out endgame mage what is the ideal gear/pet set up at the moment? Also curious on whay mastery is the best to go for atm. Thanks in advance for any answers. (Currently running arc ring/plan pend/slate chest/glint helm/arc staff)

The two best mage masteries are Time Shift mastery and Gale Force mastery. Also,just chill until its elite time since pretty much the best gear is the same gear from the last expansion.

Thanks for your response...question..so u dont uae the underhul mythics? And second how is the lightning mastery? cuz thats what i was thinking of going with...but have enuff respecs to play with a bit.

I mean I use em,but the majority of the gear that is good is from the previous expansion or Tindirin expansion.
