I guess you could just take a sticky-note and stick it over the little xp icon, then color the sticky-note to the color of the rest of that menu box

When you bought the Adventurer's Pack, it stated that the XP was permanent
and honestly, it's not like the icon is covering half your screen

I bought the Adventurer's Pack as well, the icon has been there quite a while now,
I've stopped noticing it
