We’re starting to build some serious momentum with you guys now. There are so many cool things going in tomorrow, let’s get right to it!
2x Glintstone Coins!
It’s raining money! Double your efforts in Glintstone this week with 2x coin drops.
Jewel Chests are back!
Having trouble getting that last upgrade? Want to dominate in PvP? Jewel Chests will be back in the store this week. We’ve reevaluated the odds to give you a better chance at getting rare jewels, adjusted the Jewel Chest to give out jewel from standard to exquisite (no cracked, damaged, or weak!), plus a chance at brand new recipes that let you skip a tier of jewels when upgrading. Last time these were only available over the weekend, we are going to leave these in the store all week!
Introducing Elite Runners Chests!
Our next step in making Elites more rewarding and fun to run is creating a brand new type of loot drop: Elite Runners Chests. These chests will drop in all elite levels. Bronze will drop in lower level elites, Silvers in mid level elites, and Gold Elite Runners Chests will be found in the end game elites.
Bronze:
- XP Elixirs
- Damage Elixirs
- Protection Elixirs
- Speed Elixirs
- 50 Mana Potions
- 50 Health potions
Silver: All the above items plus:
- Luck Elixirs
- 100 Mana Potions
- 100 Health potions
- Jewel Elixirs
- Respec Scrolls
Gold: All the above items plus:
- Ankhs
- Crate Keys
Boosting Cryostar Crates!
Lots of new things going into Cryostar Crates tomorrow. When you open one of these you can loot level 51 mythic weapons, as well as a recipe for the Cryoworm brooch (a new level 52 Arcane necklace that can be upgraded to level 54). We are also adding back in the Arcane Shard and buffing the elixirs by 5-10%. Get ‘em while they are hot.
All New Limited Time Hero Chests!
We believe that everyone can be a Hero, and we’ve decided to put out some killer vanity weapons to celebrate. These will only be available for one week. Hero Chests are a platinum purchase that will award one tradable vanity weapon. Each weapon matches to a particular class and weapon style:
- Smash Hands: Rogue Dual Wield style
- Bow of the Hawk: Rogue Bow style
- Norse God Hammer: Warrior two-handed style
- Captain Arlor's Shield: Warrior one-handed style
- Iron Hand: Mage Staff Style
- Rod of the Trickster: Mage Gun Style

PvP Balance: Return of the KDR!
With last week’s changes (50% damage/ 40% healing nerfs) we feel like the PvP at the end game is fairly on point right now. We also understand that the lower-level PvP does not need this range of adjustments so we’ll scale from ~15% nerfs at low end Twinking to the full 50% nerf at end-game PvP. Net effect is that low-level should feel a lot like what it was before we started this balance pass. Accordingly, we are turning the Kill/ Death Ratios back on with this publish, so be careful out there, and have fun!
Sorcerers Buffs:
We’re sending a little love the Sorcerer’s way to help those little smurfs out:
- Increase the number of targets Fireball can hit by 2
- Fireball Mastery now increases the number of targets Fireball can hit by 1 for every 2 points, and decreases the cooldown of fireball by .1 second for each point
- Increase the damage output of Charged Time Shift on the initial drop of the Clock
- Lifegiver’s Healing effects over time will now stack
