I'm BACK!

Ooooh the nolstalgia!
Started AL almost 2 years ago, left after a month. Got a Sorc and a Warrior to 28 or so.
Not much big changes in the UI that I can tell, everything seems pretty familiar.
So, just a few questions.
1. Is locked chest farming still a viable way of making money? (I have an amulet/ring that boosts drop chance). If so, where should I farm?
2. What pets should I be looking for that are relatively affordable? (around 10-60k price, I just the green frog)
3. Were there any major changes/nerfs/buffs/content updates after 2014 march?
4. Is the level 46 pack for 250 plat worth it? (I saved up 270 through tapjoy). If not, what should I spend my plat on?
5. What's the best way to make money now if I'm not doing elites?
6. Last thing. What type of (relatively) affordable gear should I be looking for that give good stats for sorc/warrior? (I still have an old set of ancient druids, and a decent expedition gun at lv40 for my sorc)
That's it. If there's anything else. you think it might help for me to know, just telling me below would be nice.

welcome back

1. as you may know, jarl doesn't drop locked anymore, only ydra forest map and up. i prefer kraken mines 3, you can lvl and farm.
2. stanlee is a good pet for not much golds, has dmg, armor, health, and aa gives 20% dmg and crit.
3. lots of nerfs buffs etc probably best to explore the game n forums a bit.
4. i wouldn't get the xp pack personally, use the plat for buying energy in goblin event starting tomorrow and sell at auction to make gold.
5. farm for jewels in shuyal/tindirin, farm for locks in km3, some do arena (though i find it a waste of time)
6. there will be gear released for goblin event, so best to buy during event. potency or assault gear for warrior, brutality or assault for mage.
