I'm a lvl 52 Mage. Where would be the ideal place for me to do XP runs?

That depends on your definition of ideal. You would get more xp from doing Balefort Sewer (BS) runs, but have to deal with getting kicked for being too low. It may be easier for you to get to level 53 using Capture the Keeper (CtK) runs since there are usually plenty of them and the host is less likely to boot you; however you won't get as much xp by doing them. So it all depends...

I find BS to be MUCH faster to level in after you hit 50. Mostly because I hate ao3 so much that it makes me sick standing in it I recommend running Bandit Boys Hideout and Catacombs in BS (Balefort Sewers)

try looking for a group that is doing slushie runs at hideout, thats how i got to 56
