Xperia play black buttons now

Today there was what appears to have been an update since it installed new addon data. Dont see anything in patch notes or news. Anyways now ive got black buttons next to my spell icons and potion icons. The start select square triangle and circle icons are just black blocks. It doesnt effect gameplay but it sure is ugly. Be great if could toggle off those icons since I dont need a constant reminder of what my x button does. Can you get rid of them or add a toggle to options menu.

Backround info. I woke up opned game and it installed updates. I played for 5 mins then it disconnected me. said were up and running but for some reason you cant connect. So I uninstalled everything. Reinstalled from newest market apk and thats when I had black icons.

Just reinstalled from apk listed in forums verizon beta thread. Still black icon action buttons.
