Yeah...we've been together for 8 years and got engaged about a year and a half ago. 9 years is too long without marriage and kids. We're basically BFFs and roommates. There's no more physical attraction or spark. Basically best friends. I think a relationship needs to evolve. After 3-4 years, people need to get married and have kids a year or two later. That way the relationship and love evolves and it's not me and her anymore, but me, her, the kids, the family. Our problem was we never evolved. Basically dating and living together for 9 years. The breakup is tough though. We own the house together, cars together, money, bank accounts, credit cards, the shih-tzu, ughhhh.

But on the plus side, I'm single and looking again lol. I've never been a cheater but I've had those moments where I've met a hot girl and I've told myself, "If only I was single..." Now I can act on it.
