European players pay too much for plat on Iphone?

A month ago I bought an android phone. I already had an Ipod touch and I noticed some price difference between the android market and iTunes:

So in the android market everything is in dollars:
30 plat for 4,99
75 plat for 9,99
165 plat for 19,99
800 plat for 49,99
2000 plat for 89,99

When you buy them (I live in Holland so I pay with euro's) I pay this:
30 plat for 3,50
75 plat for 7,00
165 plat for 14,02
800 plat for 35,05
2000 plat for 63,09

Now the prices from iTunes:
30 plat for 3,99 Difference: 0,49 euro
75 plat for 7,99 Difference: 0,99 euro
165 plat for 15,99 Difference: 1,97 euro
800 plat for 39,99 Difference: 4,94 euro (!)

I think this is unfair and there shouldn't be a difference between the android market and iTunes

I agree, i noticed that too (Belgium here). That's why i always buy plat from their website, lts actually cheaper as compared to in game. Weird, but true.

It's because iTunes has a fee (from what I understand) from IAP, so in order to make Android profit per platinum = iOS profit per platinum, they have to charge a bit more.

That's one of the perks of android I guess, free market and credit card payments so there's no middle-man. Unfortunately for iOS, iTunes (Apple) is the middle-man through the App Store.

If iTunes doesn't get a cut from IAP, then I have no idea

thats weird then because the prices are higher when you buy more plat. If what you say is true the difference should be like 1 euro with every amount of plat

True. Maybe iTunes has a complex price cutting method too?

I honestly don't care what Apple does.
I just want the update approved and bam.

yeah me too, star legend isn't that great.... I miss a sense of control that was in PL. I don't know what it is but I miss it :P
edit: and there are a lot of bugs...
