Sure mages die to birds anyway, due to blast shot. It's just a buff on bears, but really with superior crit dual-spec warbirds should continue to dominate. Not much to be done but wait for the next update/patch and see what happens.

U need to kite bears. Bears only have one 12m skill so once that is out of the way it's free pickings at 12m!
Bears will be dual specing now, though. And equiping bows.
