What Could the Next Expansion Be?

This image was posted in the Housing 2.0 guide, and it made me wonder if it could be a teaser for the next expansion.

I know it will probably be a while before we get another expansion in AL, but I think it would be interesting to see what ideas the players have for future updates. Do you like the idea of an underwater expansion? What kind of enemies do you want to fight? What's your dream environment?

UNDERWATER EXPANSION! That would be so dopee. Deep beneath the southern seas lies the haunting spirit of Bloodhammer, angrily utilizing the sea creatures to exact revenge on the heroes that killed him, ultimately reviving the ancient and infamous kraken that the isles were named for.

Most likely talking about an underwater housing environment?

First sentence talks about Housing 2.0, the underwater and then goes back to housing. Subject is also about housing.

That's true, but consider that all the current environments are based on existing locations.

Seriously now seems like we get maps around kraken isles cause of " sea "
Won't be surprised if last boss of these maps will be big kraken xD

Well if you see the sea part of the world map near nordr, there's a sea-dragon like entity nearby, that could be..but nvm me.

Although, if it was referring to the house environment, why is it not being released with these other environments?

All of these environments reflect upon existing campaigns as someone above pointed out. There is no underwater campaign... yet.

The closest thing would be kraken isles, but it would make more sense to be located on a sandy beach rather than underwater.

Maybe it's not being released with these environments because they just didn't make one?

Also he referred to all of the outside parts as environments as well, and if it were an expansion wouldn't they refer to it as such?

Time will tell what the message means. There is nothing more than what was said than what can be logically speculated.

With new vanities: a giant "breath bubble" with some palms for the sorcerer, a totally encapsulated suit for the warrior and a sweeet mermaid suit for the rogue. Lol

I don't get ppls facination with underwater themes.
I don't see it happening due to- WATER!! what, are you gonna walk around on the bottom of the sea?
They won't even entertain gender options due to massive re-animations clogging up data.
Animals swimming in full plate armor?!??
Fire balls underwater?!?
Swimming bald eagles ?!??
O.o

But some spongebob fan would love to see a squirrel underwater I guess :/

For me, I love the idea we'll have an undersea expansion coz it reminds me how awesome it looked in Alice: Madness Returns

Dont forget you're playing a game where a small blue creature with a giant finger is running around with an undead dinosaur throwing fireballs and shooting guns at sharks that are walking on dry land.

In AL, reality is thrown out the window right as you load that character screen. For all we know, they could be wearing a certain thing, or swallowed a certain pill, or be put under some kind of incantation to negate any physical law that applies to our world like something that could inhibit our ability to breathe underwater or run casually on the ocean floor, despite any sort of pressure imbalances and gravity.

And dont forget the campfire song song
