Upkeep is worst thing about houses,thats why many ppl dont even buy starter house. Why not delete it ? ik upkeep mean more money from plat :v

If there's a way to make a few extra bucks and people are willing to pay it, nothing will change.

The tax system is crazy expensive for the the avg player. I would have went tavern if I didn't need to upkeep it.

I had a house in which i place a couple Elondrian furniture then i was not able to play for a couple weeks cuz if work and next thing you know my house was gone loool i guess upkeep took it away... Rediculous how i have too keep an eye on upkeep even when i got things going on in rl

I would buy a tavern or lodge but i just cant commit to the upkeeps very high so after using it for 1 or 2 weeks no more upkeep wasted house.

perhaps u can make the weekly quests depended on the house u currently have

ex.
u own a starter house, thus weekly quest gives u 1token (and u buy 1 token from bard)
u own a tavern, thus weekly quest gives u 6tokens (and u buy 2 from bard)

first 2 houses weekly quest provides 1less token than required for a week
last two houses weekly quests provides 2 less toekns than required
event specific house (if its in the future) weekly quests provides 3 less tokens than required for the week

^^ do this and we will be happy. and yes we can do the weekly quest even if we dont have a house.

i like the idea of having a secondary house slot for miniture items like candle mug book etc.

one gold based scenery thats doesnt give any stat bonus, for 50k gold or 25k gold
its a black void i hate, and i dont have plats, u dont have to give any bonus either if u dont want to, just a scencery for gold!
and add a soothing music (which we can turn off/on) that depends on teh scenery we choose,nice and relaxing.

I would like that story tokens only were used for their traditional use. It would be fine if Boltag (or another new NPC) gives more weekly quests. I like spending Story Tokens to their traditional use and now the situation is strange because i have to spend Story Tokens to pay the House and this makes me go slower on my traditional use.

On the other hand, if we could pay the House upkeep only by making weekly quests, more people could afford a bigger House.

Agree. Hard to move forward if we can't even access our house. Just increase furniture item plat cost but upkeep is so rough.
