    Default Higher caps on skills wanted!

    A suggestion, especially with the new higher level caps, is to increase the skill caps, allowing greater specialisation. Now, at higher levels, everyone basically has the same 'stuff'.

    Also, multiple combo options built into the skill sets would be nice. for example, now the enchantress basically has ONE combo: ice+fire. Why not add another combo, fr example a new skill combined with the 'lightning storm' power.
    With higer caps on the skills (say, around 12 for each), then it would make more sense to 'specialise' one one or another type of power set.

    Mages have basically one combo, just like birds and bears. Besides they deal too much damage anyways. The skill cap increase... Not very sure what to say.

    I actually was just thinking about how great it would be if I could put more skill points into my freeze and fire blast... that would be cool... I also think the lvl 6 cap on skills to be a little low. However, it seems balanced with the dungeon difficulty and such.. Could be a cool change.. At least raise it a couple levels. I think 12 is a bit high, imo.

    In my opinion, adding to the skill cap level is a very sensitive issue.

    This can't be done without another complete rebalance of characters, maybe gear. Like you were saying, a level 12 Rage (following current pattern per skill level) would mean 120 damage and 60 crit. A BoM would mean 120 crit, and so on.

    I could probably see 7 happening, but even at 7, it'd be stretching it too far, IMO. Especially since most classes have a few skills that are a must to max anyway, making all the builds pretty much the same again even at 7 skill cap.

    Dislike. If they increased skill level it can not ever bee to 12, that would ruin the balance of the game and make pvp and ctf ... Ugh re re to way the least. increasing to 7 would be ok if it came with a level requirment per increase point wise of the skill. The last thing this game needs is a arrogant little lvl 25 with 7 bom and bom running around thinkg they are the best. It would only benefit one class at certain levels. I like the way it is now. Having all. Or mostt skills maxed makes for a more balanced aresenal. Now that I'm 60, as a pally I've both my debuffs maxed which as an end game char helps a lot in pve groups, ffa, and ctf.

    Just increase all the skill caps to 50. Then, we would see some intersting builds...

    I think it will all dpd on what sts intend to do with their games and the limit cap they have in mind.

    If we check the join game you could type lvl 999. I doubt theyll go that far lol...
    probably around 100 for the end game, id say.
    lvl12 for skills... no way lol.
    If we check the skills page, the lvl number is in a single digit circle.
    So the max skill lvl cap without modifying the page would be 9...
    We could imagine (9x12)= 108 skills pts at lvl 109.
    I hope its not going to tend to that, would be boring for a lot of players as it is right now.

    I'm all for raising the cap to 12. My bowbear would have 12 in rage stomp beckon and iron blood. Pop and 4x elixir and the mobs will be dead before I even get to them. They'll commit mass suicide. Lol.
