In my opinion, Warrior Class is too weak

let's say i have 2000 armor
1- 100/ (100+ 2000) = 0.0476190476190476
2- 0.0476190476190476 - 1 = -0.9523809523809524 which means you have 0.95% damage reduction ,,,, now look

if you have 1000,000,000 armor
1- 100/ (100+ 1000,000,000) = 9.999999000000
2- 9.999999000000 - 1= 0.999999999% damage reduction so it will never go above 0.99% not matter how much armor you have


which also means you will get hit by half of the damage of any hit you take

1- put on the best gears in the game and go solo or kill any elite boss at the same level as you . you will die by 1 hit if you get to the boss that is.
2- too slow and low damage and his skills takes too long to hit. i know i know , we should think that he is a tank but he is not . so what is he ????
3- most players don't want to play with a warrior on high levels. any reason why? oh too weak i forgot.

post any video that proves that the Warrior Class is a tank . you can't ?

Look at elite dungeon timed run leaderboard. Maarkus, Ryvz and Ioez are warriors and they are all over the leaderboard. There were others on LB as well, Midievalmodel, Crackerzseven, just off the top of my head. There are even records made with two-warrior parties.

If the highest level elite is the Underhul then no one class is able to solo the bosses there. The age of one class dominance in PvE is over and team work gets you anywhere faster.

And I'm no dev but just as I disagree to generalized slur against a whole class who has more than proved itself this season, I would think the calculation for armor vis a vis damage reduction isn't anything as you made it to be.

Warriors are strong enough but nit at all. I hate that bosses that can kill a war by 1 or 2 hit like sorrow (mutant giant mage in pt2)
Also here is the giant troll that can one hit the warrior if he crit.
i just want a tank to be able to tank. I have 860 dos without buffs that i gladly change for arm lol.

Tanks are doing very well this expansion. Both taunting and tanking is very possible if you coordinate your pet buffs with your party and gear. Elite Jadis is the only really hard boss now, where you better learn to evade the Redzones instead of trying to tank them.

Just so this thread doesn't spiral out of control, I want to clarify that this formula is not how armor and damage reduction work in Arcane Legends. Most players have over .99% damage reduction already.
