Good pet or Good gear?

Well many people keep asking me this question those have been farming a lot and have certain amount of gold and I know its hard for them to decide if they should go for good pet or good gear(arc ring,weapon etc) so i made this thread.

Go for Arcane pet guys! They help a lot!
Warrior : Nekro, mm, toor, stampy, singe
Rogue : Nekro, sns, maridos, mm, toor
Mage : Sns, Nekro, maridos, mm

Basically all are good except arc deary n old school pet haha

depends on the pet(s) you're talking about. if the pet is arcane then buy it!! but always look on forums for the little discount

if mythic pet, I'd just buy a cheap legendary pet instead with happiness that boosts stats
ex: wrathjaw 10% damage, 6+ crit, 20 dex, 20 int (for Mage/Rogue)
for warrior you can buy a ribbit/snaggletooth since damage and crit aren't a priority. and a Kelvin or George to stun bosses.

gear will always be there and since this question was recently asked: hold off until the new gear is released. next wave is reportedly coming soon.

as for gear, you can always buy cheap gear and still upgrade your stats at the same time. added: I also skipped out on buying a belt bc the prices are high and the stat increase is very minimal. not a great value from my perspective.

the only gear you should put a little more gold into is a weapon. I'd rather pay a couple hundred thousand gold on a weapon that gives +100 or more damage/dps than a cheap one that gives +20. If you're sorc/rogue just buy which weapon fits your play style. For war, stick with shield bc they are always cheaper.

Last note: all gear I buy is always clean gear. EXCEPT weapon. I don't look for para or eye, or grand gems. bc again, the increase in price compared to the increase in stats is very minimal. in pvp these things matter but for pve, not so much.

I don't see what's so wrong with having a Maridos pet. My Warrior teammate always uses Maridos and all our runs are successful.

For me was to go for gear then pets because if I have a good arcane pet but low gear I'll die easily lol.

I think a full exquisite class legendary set can be as good as a fortified mythic set, jewels never die

Edit, p s. If you consider jewels as gears then i would say go for gears, specifically jewels tho

It does but it's to buy good gear first then get arcane eggs or Legendary they are good too.
