Do +Damage and Bonus Damage affect Procs?

No, increasing your damage does not affect aegis explosion.

The Aegis is what I most wanted to know about, since mages and rogues will both want +damage anyway, but for a tank I guess +damage won't make much difference then. Thanks.

I think the damage of the character affects the damage dealt by weapon procs. So the higher your damage, the more damage the glintstone bow bomb procs for example will deal. But it does not affect the frequency of the procs.
