Which class solos the best

Which class is the best for soloing? I know this is a team game but sometimes there are no good teams when I log on at odd hours. Which class would be good for just some solo killing?

tho i have not used mage much solo

birds in my op do fine at lower lvls but when the bad guys get real mean and do a lot more damage the my bird used soooo many post is was sick - even with elixers

Not any really since health and mana are generally close,but ops come in more often for loot than not but its easier not soloing without alot of pots

Depends on what you want to do:

Op: fast solo killing, good against bosses; most stims needed
Com: medium solo killing, good against normal mobs; medium stims needed
Eng: slow solo killing, no real specialty; low stims needed

Overall, I'd probably pick Engineer for soloing because they are the cheapest.

If done right any class can play w/out pots. Comms use Vig/KR, Engies use Emp/Trans/FS, and Opps use their one heal. The more points in each the less downtime necessary for recharges. Opps have little armor and only one AOE so you die quickly. I would not play an Opp w/out a group. Engies can keep themselves alive awhile but they cant do crap for DPS with their lower level spells only doing damage over time(called ticks). Commandos have the best AOE skills and the only AOE weapons, more HP than any other, and the highest mitigation so IMO a command is the best for solo but all three are necessary to make a good group. In fact the standard group build in all 5 man instances for MMOs is 1 tank 1 heals and 3 dps reason being 2+ tanks sometimes lead to agro fights and CDs being up leading to dead healers, 2+ heals lead to overhealing, wasted mana, and lower group DPS, and 4+ opps lead to dead opps because they are squishy and cant heal midfight w/out suffering a debuff.

Hey. Ops can have decent armor now. I can hit 530+ armor and still have good damage.. 105 to 120 dps.

I just recently turned 30 on my engineer and I wanted to solo uncharted ruins. Took forever but I solod it. Only used like 5 stims. And none on guardian. Took a good five minutes to down him though. Was kinda cool though.

Commando is my favorite for soloing. Just max out your health and defense buffs and youll hardly need pots. I'll have to admit that it gets easier to solo for commandoes as you level up.
