It's not unfair by any means. This advantage has always been a motivation for oldies to continue playing. As others have stated, even a full magor 3pc is beatable with 2pc. Name a mage you find unbeatable, and you can't. Even though there are many 3pc magor mages, why do you think that is?
You ever heard the expression out with the old in with the new? There is no new...and pvp should at least give all ppl same gear to be fair, or is that not clear to you? Older players have experience and probably good ping, is that not enough?

It is about as fair as they can make it with the astronomical stat levels this game has after L66, to the point where 3pc and 2pc doesn't even matter if you can play your class properly, it's what, 12 armor and like 2 dodge difference between 3pc and 2pc?

So i just told you that the difference between a 2pc ring and a 3pc ring is the same as the difference between magor set and elite set, but 'it's the same' right? Hahaha!
No it's not same, Magor set has significant health boost.

If u really need to talk about endgame pvp, u should talk about class disbalance its so huge that 2pc -3pc stats difference is negligible, then comes dodge , specially dodge of mages, dodge itself ruined endgame pvp.
But nvm, as you talked in this thread sometime, it's clearly shows your understanding toward pvp. You should actually thank that 2pc is still available to newcomers because 2pc has SIGNIFICANT stats boost.

Another 3pc thread, more crying
The stat difference between 2 piece ring and 3 piece ring is,
• 1 crit hit%
• 5 health
• 5 armor
as previously mentioned.
However crafting the 3 piece ring - Ring of Valiant Glory with a black ring results in,
• 5 hit%
• 2 crit hit%
• 5 dodge
• 17 health
• 1 health regan
• 10 mana
• 1 mana regan
• 10 armor
There is a more significant gain from the new magor, warat, arzac sets compared to the normal 80 elites. But we all have access to those new super elites.
I agree that Stg should allow all to craft 3 piece rings by now, we received a cap and the 3 piece ring option wasn't included.
This will decrease the number of black market sales for 3 piece ring accounts. There is a huge issue here and so many make an immense amount of money from these illegal trades. It saddens me Stg help those who sell the accounts recover them and the scammers sell the accounts again.

Well obviously sts isn't gonna patch anything and I think its been quite apparent for years that there's always gonna be items that not everyone would be able to obtain in the future, including stat advantages
At the extremely long 76 cap people were stuck using dragon or plat rings only they actually closed the gap when they added 77 pet and now its even easier to reach those levels, so really its more fair than ever now
Oh look pvp crying, haven't seen that before, you know if you spent as much time crying about how disadvantaged you where in pvp maybe you could "get gud casual" it's just a thought. But then again you people are the reason pl is dead so I don't expect the whining to end anytime soon.

It is 100% fair that older players get an advantage, they stuck with the dam game all this time, if you don't like having a 2pc toon, as sad as it is, paypal exists; alternatively, you could just get good at your class and learn how to kite, it really isn't difficult anymore. I know people who don't even use rings and still destroy 3pc classes..
So many 3pc vs 2pc threads have been removed, posting more doesn't achieve anything except excessive drama and a lively forum for a few weeks, have we not learnt that by now?

Older player SHOULD get an advantage & 'getting advantage is fair' is different matter. Nobody should have discontinued advantage in a competitive game, new gen COMPETITIVE games got so much popularity and there's no reason to be unfair for new comers, other than the facts thats that newcomers need to work on the game the way old gen did. That's the reason these game getting such popularity.
Think in the perspective of a new comer, he joins pvp and get to learn that there's something that he can't get, he alrdy new to this & even small advantages would seems to be big to him after keep getting rekt, he wouldn't even try and move onto something else, on the other hand old gen alrdy have advantage of experience and knowledge, giving em more ain't justified either and they try to protect their advantage so hard that it looks like their pro-ness is in that particular item only, having the discontinued advantage.
N.B - I didn't mean pl is competitive game as an whole but pvp part.
- Not only this comment i quoted but to all others who tried to project this fair rather than projecting this as negligible.

This, and if they did release it they could need to update the game, updating the game cost money, pl doesn't make them that kind of money, so no update.
But why stop there?! Maybe every US citizen should be given a Ferrari because that would be oh-so super fair.
