Does Luck Elixir help in any way to find (forgot the name) the guy whp drops eggs?

No, but it could help you to re-roll a better egg once you find him.

I've been hunting for hours and never saw anyone rerolling an egg. I think luck is completely useless in this event.

There have been a couple of screen shots posted already, one of someone re-rolling a Samael egg.

I've hunted 60+ eggs(imagine how long I've been farming lol), saw many arcane and mythic drops still no re-rolls. (Checked the screen shot, might be re-roll for another mob's loot.)

Luck elix/lepre isnt necessary in this event.. I've been looting 3 mythic eggs and a Tyrannica Within 4hrs of farming without any luck elix and lepre.. So yeah its just based on your own luck(not the elix).
