Skill points bugs

Allright devs, I think you should take a real close look at this bug. When I'm on any of my low level characters and I level up, my skill point automatically goes into a skill. Sometimes, I don't want it that way because the skill is kinda not useful to me. please devs if You can fix this, make sure that when you level the skill points has not added to any skills.

For example, when I leveled my enchantress to 7, a skill point went into the lightning spell and I don't like the lightning spell much!

Its sposed to be like that. They made it that way.

Yep, like cascade said, that's how it's made! If you don't like a certain skill, you can respec and change it!

Yeah, but re specs cost platinum so if you don't have any either get some or just play like it is

There was talk of putting in a free respec at a certain level (think it was 8 or maybe 24...) and only getting it for that level if you wanted to use it. Last I remember hearing a dev was working on it but that was awhile ago...

Respecs are cheap, but I agree that I don't like how it's currently done. I'm pretty sure it's done this way so new players don't have to figure out skill points right away, but anyway it has been discussed, but I don't remember hearing anything concrete about any change coming.

G made a comment here that it was being worked on back in April. Apparently it was in the works for level 8 when the skill points no longer auto-assign themselves.
