If melee weapons come, I hope the skill ranges change accordingly too.

Majority of commando skills are ranged, so it'd be weird if with a melee weapon we would still use majority of skills from a range and by the time we get to melee, they're dead. Lol.

I think only the enginner class must use them... i dont know its skills but i think its closed range..... i thought also if they could make a whole branch class, with platinum paid,whichcan use meele weapons like lightsabers,forcesabers,

The Eng would use them nah everyone but it does fit more into the Eng think about the Gloves launch electricity so if you could put only one glove and put the lightsaber in the other you would be a jedi but if the tanks can pull the enemy and put on a glove and have a lightsaber they be the true jedis IMO.

Guys in numa have yellow lighsaberish things. It's pretty sweet!

numa... the only yellow lightsabers i ever seen was in the old republics jedies

There was possible talk of lightsabers (would have to change name tho) being added to the game by a Dev a while back.. maybe just pulling our leg but would be pretty awesome if implemented.. though the whole close range contact would be a little weird within SL so far.. hmm only time will tell
