It would be cool if you and one of your friends are on the same map and your friends arrow on the mini map was green so it would show that your friend is right there.

It would be cool if you and one of your friends are on the same map and your friends arrow on the mini map was green so it would show that your friend is right there.
How would this enhance the player base experience? typically everyone just runs in a mob anyway so your chance of your friend being within those three/four little wobbly triangles on the mini map is pretty high.

I could see it working in town, but pending on the size of your friends list and how many of them are actually IN towne you're entire screen is going to be full of half red/half green triangles and you're not going to be able to tell them apart and see which green triangle is who. At that point it's just easier to look at the names over their heads and run to the three places they could be hiding...buying pots, middle of towne, or in the fort.
