Honestly, I have played the game for so long with the sound off, it sounds weird when I turn it on. Almost to the point where it is distracting.
I used to play with the sound on. But then after I updated my ipod to 4.3.5 (I think, the newest one anyways) there would be these crackling sounds whenever there were big sounds. Like in pocket legends. Most of my music still sounded the same. I still sometimes play with the sound on in pvp. Helps me, though I'm not sure why.
Also, if someone could help with this problem, thanks! I've reseted my ipod and restored it, but it doesn't seem to work (I might have restored the problem, as I downloaded the backup on my computer again). I use earphones, and when I unplugged them to test the sound, I could still hear crackling sounds coming from the ipod.
Help would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly i try to play sounds on after i read this..(i almost play only in work)
Thats sounds annoying "ping, pong" sounds when been in cs and ppl using stuffs and i enjoy much more when sound is off and my own music on (linkinpark \,,/)

go into option go turn music and sound off then exit turn personal music on then play! if you dont like the sounds play with your own!
On/off depending on my mood lol. I usually have my headphones on with my music on full volume.
