Does thorn root work on bosses?

I just created an int bird and i'm wondering if thorn root holds back bosses?

No its the same thing just entangles multiple people at a time.

They nerfed them a while back because an archer could completley own bosses if you had the two spells !!

I know its not fair our weapons need to do a lot more damage we do nothing compared to mages and tanks.

We crit nearly every hit and have relatively high dps
