How do you get more crafting inventory slots?

I just came back to the game. All my old characters have 500 crafting inventory slots. I started a new one and he only has 25! That fills up quick! I see that they can be purchased for platinum, but I don't have any. Is there a non-platinum way to get more inventory slots?

A lot of stuff can be purchased for gold nowadays. Including crafting inventory slots, furnishing inventory slots etc. Check auction.

alright you need to spend at least 1.5m for max crafting slots.

Hate to have to ask, but what is the name of the thing I need to buy? I see like, housing slot kits and furnishing inventory kits and stuff, but not crafting inventory slots.

Just type craft inventory in chest tab and it will pop up if there is any being sold of course

Thanks! That's what I was afraid of. Simply typing "inventory" only yields "25 Furnishing Inventory Slots Kit" and nothing else. So there must not be Crafting Inventory Kits available. As a matter of interest, how are they gotten in the first place? Is it by some quest? Inventory slots bought for Plat can't be traded I think and I do not believe the Minstrel vendor sells Crafting Inventory Slots.

Crafting slots can be bought with plat from the store or gold from auction .
There's still no other way to get them as far as I know .

So this was technically a nerf that happened at some point while I was away from the game, correct? All of my old characters that I used to play have 500 crafting slots and I never bought a single one. But new characters created now only get 25?

I am not sure but I think it changed when houses were introduced along with furniture, we didn't have 500 furnishing slots only 25,then we go the option to buy them ( there was also an even where we could loot houses , furniture and slots ).
I'm guessing they saw on this a way to make players spend more because with the amount of junk we loot there's no possibility to keep it at 25 unless you clean your inventory every run .
