New Artifact System
Arlorians! I have great news; our excavators have discovered a brand new item!
Found in a lost realm beneath the surface of Arlor, several Artifacts have been unearthed that can
exponentially boost a players stats.
There is a catch though; the artifacts are currently being guarded by the Ruins old inhabitants, lead by the Forgotten King.
You may be asking how you may ascertain one of these snazzy artifacts. Well the first step is to
head over to Garetta and find the entrance to the Forgotten Ruins Hub. Its
right next to the Blacksmith!
Inside look for the NPC Reznok. He can fill you in on what’s going on and how to get the artifact.
The Rune vendor will take any fragments found in the Forgotten Ruins and convert them into full fledge artifact Runes.
If you need a cheaper option to enter the Ruins, head over to Kozner. I hear he has some tokens that can let you in though he tends to ask for favors in return.
Once you are ready to venture forth, head towards the giant glowing portal. The portal will demand compensation before the player can enter. Once payment is made the portal will directly teleport player to the Forgotten Ruins. A word of caution, only one player can be transported at a time. This means you will have to explore and battle on your own
Somewhere in the Ruins, you shall meet with the Forgotten King Arturas. Defeat him and he will drop rune fragments for you and possibly other treasures
Artifacts start out as Commons and can be upgraded all the way to Arcane. Upgrades will be crafted using Magna and Victus Runes.
Players will also be able to socket jewels into their artifacts!
Fully upgraded Arcane Artifacts give players a +100 stat boost and a cool new particle effect!
