Getting alitte ridiculous. If uu dont want people joining Make your runs private.if u can't take an extra min to wait for ur friends type in a little code u don't deserve the option to boot. And if u boot right b4 the boss dies u should be temporarily banned. Its getting ridiculous and pretty much ruining the game.booting should b removed. Make it so games can't b joined after a certain %has been done unless its a private game.just my opinion but im getting so sick of it.
Another thread....sigh..... As for your 'booting before boss' issuee, There has been talk of a timer that only won't let anyone boot after the boss is awaken.

That is not a solution to a real problem. Some of us enjoy PUGs and getting booted at the boss does kill that feature of the game. This game is not about "PL with friends" it is also about playing with random folks. I strongly believe that if someone has been in an instance for "x" amount of time or "y" amount of mobs they should become immune to a late boot.
sure booting at the boss is in poor taste, but booting people from my games is well within my right. The games that are made from running through the portals are public games with no boot options. If someone has an issue with being booted they have 3 options: make their own game, walk through the portal, join a game with one of their friends. I use plat elixirs regularly and I do not like wasting my money on making a password. I also like to have people on my friends list fill out my games. It's easy to tell everyone in your guild to join but there is no /friend message feature atm so getting them the password isn't easy. I think everyone who cries about being booted (not at the boss) needs to find some friends.
Booting is fine. My issue is with booting either very late in the instance or at the boss. I am sure you do not let folks run with you for 3/4 of the level then boot them!
If u don't want people joining make it private. That's why its there and there r alot of intelligent people who do use it.as for getting friends I have over a hundred but notice pl is not what it once was and 75% of them no longer play. Im on for an hr a day max and its usually slow. So joining game with other people is the best option.I guess ur right about ur right to boot but at least when u put the reason just b truthful and say ur to lazy or just not intelligent enough to use a feature that was made so u don't have random people joining.and as for u finding other posts about this in under a min. Wow good for u guess if there's other threads exactly like this one then it must b an issue.if there wasn't an actual feature to make games private then I would say nuthing but the fact that the makers of this game actually spent the time to make this feature and people who boot don't bother using it. Like I said lazy or ignorant.
And im just bored so im complaining. And I guess I didn't mean booting should b taken out. Just getting to the point that its being abused.

The way I see it is that everyone has something to complain about and this, recently, seems to be a big topic. Booting is part of the game as well is being able to lock the instance your playing in.
There are numerous threads about this and what im getting tired of is seeing the same thread repeated every other day by random different people.
1. If you don't want to be booted, then form your own runs or join the players you can trust.
2. Join P.U.G.s and risk the chance of getting the boot. Joining P.U.G.s gives the chance to meet new friends. It also is a good way to find the jerks in the game.
I've kicked people while killing a mini boss or boss and it's because they stand right outside the door waiting to loot but not fighting at all or they stand right in the middle of group doing nothing. On any account if the person is gonna stand around just to get drops they deserve to be kicked no matter how many mobs they've killed or how long theyve been in zone. I've kicked for language, remarks and comments made to me or other players as well.
Well I'm done with my babbling & now it's time for some lunch. Hope you find some good groups so these kicking jerks don't discourage you any more.

There is certainly an amount of trust placed in the host of the game; however, In PUGs the contract of the trust can be ambiguous
