Android Updating Bug

Opened PL, and it wants to update.
I update VIA market, and it starts force closing all the time.
I then delete, and reinstall. It's now at client 1.7.4
I open it again, it wants to update. When I go to the market, it thinks it's already updated. When I try to use the website or getjar, it doesn't update it anymore than the market does.

Am I missing something?
