my review/observations of Halloween this year

in defense of the devs, they never actually said that last years halloween drops were a one off
the items are the same; essentially you kinda wasted your money(sorry collectors)

a new vanity pumpkin is nice.
if the cat/ghost bag was a vanity, that would be so much better

the plat price of costumes went up (to be expected)
the knight costume was available (was shown in screenshots but never ingame)

so many complaints about a higher lvl in a no host game

i agree with this the vanity halloween head is really good, and the costumes are a little pricey.

I dont mind the price of the costumes, i never got to participate in last year's halloween event so im quite enjoying running around as a yeti

As for the items, technically he's right, the devs never said the old items wouldnt be coming back (to the best of my knowledge, dont flame me if others have proof otherwise) and im happy they did come back. I did hope to make a little money off my drops but mainly i figured the pinks would have epic stats for my low level farmers, and they do, just a little added incentive for me to farm them.

The devs said a few things would be coming back with a bunch of new content, however it seems that the exact opposite is the case.

There's so many ways Halloween could be a better event without really "developing" anything.

The temporary costumes were to be expected. They could've made temporary boss costumes that randomly dropped. I'd love to be dressed as Overlord the Pringles Can!

You would think that Halloween and Crafting go together. Why not collect crafting ingredients to make one of the above (temp) boss costumes?

It was mentioned elsewhere that it'd make more sense if the costumes this year took advantage of the armor vanity slot. Because nothing makes more sense than having my Croc able to wear a Witch Hat carrying around a candy bag (as a shield vanity!)!

They could've just changed the colors / stats slightly on the drops and I think everyone would've been happy.
