Where did the locked crates of the blood leaf go?

There was no announcement made regarding this. I still have a lot of recipes I thought they'd give a fair warning or something before something like this was being done? I first searched for any announcement made regarding this before posting. If I'd missed any post (highly likely) it'd be my fault. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Were these not based off cryostar crates? I deleted almost all my recipes due to it not making economic sense. I still have a few but if I found them today, I would delete them.
