I think it's cool and all, but after fiddling around with SL on chrome, I'm pretty confident to say that I'll stick with my iPad for PL too. The controls on iPad, or any mobile device just seem to be much easier, but that might be me

It'll be cool cuz its something to play while working haha but it most likely will not match the original.

I agree. It was designed for a touch screen interface. To emulate that with mouse and keyboard, it just won't line up quite the same. I've tried SL on Chrome and love how it looks. (and of course for a blabberfingers like myself chatting is especially pleasant on a real keyboard! Lol! How bout a shortcut key to pop the chatbox back open without a mouse click though?)

I thought I read somewhere you can open the chatbox by pressing enter, haven't tried it myself though.

Really? I thought I tried that... Have to check again. Thanks. If so, Chrome would definitely be my platform of choice for base-stalking lol!

I've always loved the controller/touchpad system more than a keyboard and mouse. Maybe I'm not hardcore enough but a mouse just feels so removed

PL is already out, its just that the devs are the only ones who can play it on there. if u log in it says the platform isnt ready and the computer isnt authorized for testing.

I'll be very interested in what this means to the future of PL when it's no longer "mobile". I hope it always remains a casual mmorpg.

It will definitly explode in 2 different directions once it's released on chrome, just like SL is doing now.

Bots/Scripts are already starting to be developed and in some ways it will hurt the game a lot, but in others having it in a browser window will brings 10x the amount of people to your game then playing on a phone.

SL was ver hard to play on my computer. I think if they gave us the option to customize the keys on your keyboard the way we want to like most computer games it would be so much easier to play.
