I spent 0 gold (but used 30m only as my budget) and 1.700 plats. And I made 20-30m gold durin ursoth. I didn't lose a gold because I used all my profits that I made during ursoth.. looted 70-100 vanities from bloodgrub. So I dont think it will cost 90m to be on top 5. If you know the strategy then you can be on top 5 without spending too much gold. And I used to play 24/7 every events.
