Halloween 2017 - A secret shin-dig at Carpenter's Antique Books goes horribly wrong!

Jay and Deidre Carpenter are aging vampire hunters. Crippled by wounds both physical and mental, the two have retired from the cause. In their dotage they have become purveyors of ancient word-craft, antique curios and mystical sundries. Their research has uncovered a mystical gem from the age of 'First Thirst' (a time long before the first bricks of Carvina were mortared into place). Their search for the "Blood Moon" gems has brought them to Old Town. Though the risks are certain and terrifying, they are willing to face the blood-thirsty denizens one final time in hopes of living their last days in wealth and luxury beyond the dreams of avarice.
Of course, none of this has been made known to the dozens of Halloween party-goers who have been enticed by the Carpenters to join their celebration at the bookstore in Old Town. These costumed party people are merely a buffer. A wall of meat to satiate the dead... something the Carpenters believe will give them enough time to locate the "Blood Moon" gems that they so desperately desire!
You can enter Carpenter's Antique Bookseller for a cover-charge paid in gold... the doorman suspects you're a Vampire and will let everybody inside know (so they can run from you)!
Or choose to use the Halloween Glamour Ale... which prevents humans from seeing you as a Vampire, keeps them from running away and makes the whole encounter super-hilarious!! :-)
