How's the game right now?
Hey, some of you may know me as the guy who sold all his stuff for 1k gold, and I'm curious if it's worth checking back.
I'm thinking of making a new character just to play casually maybe 3-4 hours per week, since I don't have really much time.
Is it easy to make gold? Is it even worth coming back right now?

Just start again from 0. Sometimes lvling up casually can be really funny since u can meet good new friends in your journey to lvl 66.

I basically just sit in camp all day day long and I’m still 61...
Game is stillsame as it was when u left, but to be noted it'sback to back event season and events pumped a huge energy in game . I.e. Ursoth then Eggxavior then Halloween ended few days ago, birthday coming in 4-5 days then there will be winter event.
Now event pets are replaced by there heroic versions .
STS launched a 2.0 of pocket legends called pocket legends adventure which is in my opinion far away from arcane legends. Arcane is best.
Events are really lot of fun. U can return n level up to 46 before birthday and be ready for winter
Just wishin there was that instant level up offer like before to 58. Cus lvlin upto 61 pvp is really tedious.
The game Pve wise is kinda Borin I guess unless events come up.
Pvp is really active at 61 as usual and twink level have died down except for a few brackets.

Events are the best lately.
Good money, good vanities, good pets, worth running them imo.
Anything else is.....mausoleum....
Lots more vanities! The old ones are very put of reach for most though. Still recommend coming back! Always something for everyone in this game

I am 66. But i made a nearly clean start as an experiment on my warior alt before. I didnt use any gold from my other alt and i played like a new player and it was quite fun.What level are you now?

If u wanna play maus for another year yeah come back! In all seriously sts said they had a gnarly expansion planned for winter if I remember correctly so now would be a good time to come back and start stacking up that gold imo.
"The biggest expansion AL has ever seen" is planned for somewhere early 2018.
OP, they haven't done anything concerning AL for atleast half a year. Nothing new at all.

Unfortunately i don't know who you are or how long ago you left the game, so my response will be tailored to where i play: low level pvp.
Overall, the game has gone downhill due to changes which have not been properly balanced / implemented / tested.
Balancing example: Item awakenings do not scale with level and have resulted in crazy amounts of armor in low level pvp. Unkillable gets boring real fast.
Implementation example: Mausoleum + gold loot awakenings have injected HUGE amounts of gold into the game, resulting in inflation and crazy high prices. Of course mausoleum is end game content so RIP newbies, but i assume you have the friends and knowledge to get you to end game ASAP.
Testing example: This most recent Halloween event was released with a quite unfortunate "mistake". The event was launched with level 2 "arcane" artifacts which were sold for millions of gold. Sts hotfixed the arcane item into a rare item and those who bought the artifact were left with an item worth 500 gold and no compensation for the change. Oops... STS Support response: "I wish you the best of luck on all of your future adventures."
Do i still play the game? Yes, but it isn't what it used to be.
*Disclaimer* - As i mentioned above, my opinion is based on where i play: low level pvp.

Firstly, welcome back. I did not think I would see you again.
The game is in a really good condition right now. It is a lot better than when you left. The time you left can only be described as " The Great Depression". The game is 100% better now compared to when you left.
No game is without it's ups and downs but you just play smart and suck it up if u made a wrong move by buying this too early ( referring to testing). I personally don't play low level PvP or PvP much so I am little affected by it. The end-game PvP is quite inactive but most people pvp around 40's or 60's.
P.S. Prices are higher but that is just the natural progression within a game. People farm gold and work hard to earn them so it is well deserved. I find prices of most items to be reasonable out of auction. There is a lot of people trying to raise prices of items rn.
The game is still very fun and enjoyable and the events are great as well. I would recommend you to return and start fresh.
