Yes, we were able to host this game while in the effects of the 2016 Winter Festival Access elixir; however if you can see in the video, the description of the level implies that it wasn't supposed to be able to be hosted, yet only occasionally (think about it, would he really just give us THAT much gold per present breaking?), . It was most likely a bug that we just abused during this time, hence the "circumvention" claims. Either way, you guys are technically right, but so is Cinco, because I'm pretty sure there was an elixir for 50 plat in the store. There was a lack of acknowledgement of this elixir due to this bug that we abused.

Yes we where all able to host Grotto for only 2 plat last year, it was a solo map, circumventing the cost of the portal. And it lasted 4 hours or until you killed the spawning boss "KillJoy" and received a drop.

The xmas portal hunter elixir was 50 plat. But no one bought it after discovering it only costed 2 plat for all Winter Festival maps.

I'm now quite aware that most everyone used Join / Friend-join to circumvent the ticket prices :-)

Nope last years Grotto was 2 plat and was solo, after killing Killjoy your elixir died.Not aware of this years Christmas tho.

He changed it so stop complaining guys. Its 10 plat for infinite drops in the 1 hour period now. Also last years elix was supposed to be 50 plat but it was bugged.
