Seriously? getting annoyed

im getting annoyed that i keep getting 'hacked' just because somebody stole my id code from my jailbroken ipod and now i keep losing my pinks and plat items! this time i lost about 3 mil and 300 plat worth of plat items!

spacetime studios didnt recover my items the last time

It might just be me, but the term "jailbreak" does not scream "secure"... I may not have the facts straight, but it sounds like Apollo had a good idea.

Maybe I don't understand the whole iPhone jailbrake idea (I play on Droid), but why can't you change your password to something more secure?

i believe jailbreaking is the droid equivalent to rooting our devices. Since he has the udid code he can get the password even if it is changed, correct?

Hackers are a double edged sword. They've done a lot of good and a lot of bad. Seems to me though that this person isn't a "hacker". How do they even get your ID?

If you suspect your phone could be the problem try looking at the mobile substrate add-ons under sbs settings to see if someone has put a backdoor on your phone which I highly doubt. If you can't find the problem try a restore. Sorry to hear about your account. ):

I did a little digging just now for you. Maybe it will work maybe it won't.

But I read that when you save passwords that they are linked to your UDID and 3rd parties can get to it this way. Possibly, you should try changing your password and not saving it when you login (uncheck the save password box).

Not sure if it will help you. Hope everything works out.

That's debatable since there are only so many reasons for jailbreaking an iDevice and all of them revolve around getting something for nothing. You did hack your own property which is currently legal grey area. You essentially stole something in the sense that you bypassed the security and restrictions of the device in order to gain access to free/unavailable applications that aren't in the app store. As far as deletion, well you deleted several files and other data on your iPod in order to complete the jailbreaking process. So you did do all of those things one way or another.

I am aware, guess I should have just made the assumption that the op lives in the US. My bad. Certain countries allow you to JB a device as long as it doesn't infringe upon other companies' software. Even though the act is legal, the actions one takes after the fact can have severe consequences... hints legal grey area. You took a very slight part of the argument and didn't really nullify it but rather point out the legality of it, interesting.

You seem to have some knowledge in the area, I have not performed any software modification on my iPhone. So perhaps you should give the op some pointers on how to reverse the process and re-secure his major source of gaming.

Legal doesn't make it right. Not going to get into an argument over morals but if you do this to your device, I'm sure it breaks your TOS with Apple regarding warranty. Life may be unfair but sometimes the choices we make lead to consequences. Explains why STS hasn't restored your stash from a previous hack.
