[Issue] get 30% less jewel when farming jewel after update

I asked few friends, and they also have the same problem, pc, phone user, all get the same problem.

can any devs check it again? or is there anyone from the forum can also share their experience with farming jewel post the latest update?

I'm in a odd position to offer info, as I was farming elite maps for aps so much I had amassed a ton of stat elixirs I couldent use while the event needed my crafting. So the last three days I had been jewel farming and nothing seems different to me pre and post update.

 

farming in m1 (preferably provoking sorc to proc damage nerf while using hex and using slink aa for dot)
20-30average cracked
15-20 damaged
With some high and lower than that
I was using all three stat elixirs (one elixir str, one int, one dex) for each test both before and post update

If that info helps. As I can't say I've been a jewel farmer for a long time

I have noticed the same thing. I at first thought it was bad luck, but after 10+ elix still low yields.

How did u use them? As in, did you open just one mind lix per run ten separate runs, or 3 mind 2 fin and 3furs and ran one map once?

I used to jewel farm in shuyal way back and the way I was told to back then was to open three of the same type to get more drops. Last I checked it didn't seem to help to open more than one type at a time. I haven't tested it tho-

I use one of each type at a time mind,finesse,fury. The elix doesnt stack, I've been using it since it was first introduced. Proc rate is definitely way lower after the recent update.

Could be, it just didn't seem so to me, but if you jewel farm often you have a better view on it than I.
Oh and ty for the non stacking info, that will spare me testing lel

jewel elixir does stack, but problem is jewel farm is very sensitive to lags, at a rate of 200-300 jewels per elixir, using way too many elixir at once might reduce your jewel rate, compared to using one jewel elixir at a time. but then again there is time and potion cost to consider.

then again maybe the problem is more because new client is a very laggy, causing jewel farm inefficiency.

Were speaking about elix proc not drop rate from mobs. Elix proc is definitely way lower after update, everyone i have spoken to in game who farms them has also noticed a much lower yield. Going from 150+ to 90-100 jewels is a very noticable difference.

i will suggest you to try it first, mage's method of farming jewel is equally effective to warrior's and was better when we didn't have 500 jewel limit.

anyway, i'm still figuring out what is actually nerfed, glint aegis proc, flamestaff proc, or both, or simply because something in new client restricting players action/input to reduce server's load.

i really think there was a problem though, hits frequency dropped a lot,

not trying to brag, but i've been farming jewel with the exact same method since you (sts) released jewel elixir, for more than 2 years, so if days after days i get 50 jewels per elixir (example) and suddenly i get 30 jewels after one update, i have nothing more to blame than server side's problem.

i could also see that many times chest splitter simply didn't hit (we can see the ! mark if it hits) and many times when i casted skyward smash, i am forced to move to my previous position. the difference was so obvious.

overall the root cause seems to be lag, and thank you for the reply, i hope the bug of glintstone aegis proc destroying/targetting environment will be fixed soon, thanks.
