Pvp cost 75m+( which i spent and got was above average)
Venom set/ arc arti lv 30 or 60/balanced wpon and set/ undying armor/base pet+ slots presume arc or hero/tavern+locs/arc belt

And over this.. Each gear needs to be awakened and GEMMED.. EACH GEM NOBLE WHICH MAKES U ABOVE AVERAGE COSTS 600K SO.. 600 X 20 =12M

Now endgame pve :
I dont have to say anything coz its clear.. Its boundless u can get a set for 200k and keep dying and get bored or buy set for 100m and get gold comfortably and get bored soon..

And the LB vanities.. Lmao
If i dont want to sell something and if someone keeps pestering me.. I tell them that i will sell for 200M..
But that 'joke' has evolved into reality.. And people demand even 500m for sets for which personally i got swindled.. Of my rl cash.. Huge chunk of it..

But putting that aside...

Before i had 4m and i could create a war twink at level 8 and have true fun with jus gear and gems and ONE PET (FOR GODS SAKE). (AND GOD WHY BUFFS FOR TAVERN AND LOCATION..if a person who lived in big house and buffs.. I dont see it.. Tbh.. ).
Then why dont you bring LB vanity buffs.. Guy with frank set has special proc.. Zombies spawn on map and do 112% extra damage each hit with passive slow when proc is activated.)
Medusa set: all pvp enemies and pve (even poor party members)turn to stone... End of game gg..

U have got hardcore fans.. Even though this game is just too impossible to play (NOW) .. People are finding ways to at least come to that level they were before.. EVEN IF IT INVOLVES GOLD BUYING FROM THIRD PARTY WHICH IS FORBIDDEN and PLENTY OTHER ILLEGAL STUFF STS FORBIDS... BUT
i really think the reason people spend that and do that is because they just want to enjoy the game like they did once.. Which was blissful..

U got to spend HARDCORE to even be able to enter a pvp map..

Jus when it was aldready broken... U decided to release the mystical looking colored orb artis (lv 60)..erm.. It will take u a year to craft or just about 15000++ plat to craft.. And that significantly goes into gameplay(ofc it should coz the buyer has done a humongous investment in buying that irl)..

Well at this point its impossible to do anything besides...make pvp cap with stats instead of level and lock the inventory in pvp maps . This wont be an issue since pvp leaderboards dont exist anymore and will bring some amount of fair play into it .

I swear to God you explained everything, and these playere who calling themselves pro's whenever is gauntlet event or some event where you don't need to pay to win their names acidentally never shows on leaderboard, that's pretty funny, however there is a team of players which holding leaderboard for running maps and they are all over of leaderboard and us some players who trying hard we always get kicked from leaderboard by them, so in fact the only one who wins here are these pay users, let's have in mind that not everyone got job or is even able to work because of years, next expansion I'd like to see some really fair way of playing for both kind of people ( plat users and non plat users) make some map or tombs whatever.. where we can loot chest that is like locked crate where we can open it for free and loot lets say almost same items like in locked crates put some mythic, arcane items in it, economic in this game is really funny half of items getting 3x bigger price than it used to be. I mean come on ... Put something where the real gamers can get some money I am sick of them "pros" who log in 2 hours every day walk around and show off..

When they started spamming us with heroic pets, they admitted that all recent updates were designed to make ppl use plat+recent energy removal to "make lb fair to plat users" confirms that.

I personally think they won't change the way they're going and things may get worse. It's only the mauso gl abuse and handful of plat spenders at endgame pvp so they have someone else to play with that keep al relatively stable for now.

Erm bro..i admitted not to doing black shady transactions but buying a caryload of plat during eggzavier event to buy hoard misho eggs in order to afford my dream armor the ice golem set just to find later that he dose t sell it anymore.. As u guys said.. It does not look good for normal players who dont want to spend money on the game..but i hope sts does cater to us in the next expansion.. My hopes are for that.. And the recent removal of energy kits descision while a huge talk about slowly moving to p2w was going on... Was a huge dissapointment..

Regarding leaderboards, if you dont like the rewards, dont run it. It really is as simple as that. Also if im a plat runner id expect to have a significant advantage compared to non plat users when it comes to events otherwise what is the point?

Firstly i dont Pvp so i cant comment on it. But theres many things u can still do at endgame and doesnt mean its bad just because you dont like it or have got bored of it. Dont want to spend millions to pvp. Dont do it. Dont want to spend 20-25m to do maus comfortably because you will get bored? Dont do it. Cant spend 400m on vanitys? Dont do it. Theres s8mething for everyone if you really want to play

Bottom line is there are people willing to spend to Pvp, many people who enjoy farming maus and will continue to do so and will be more than happy to see an extension, there are people willing to pay the prices that are being demanded for the vanitys. Theres are people who merch, people who run arena, people who run elite maps for Ap, people who run the Cryostar. I remember the days when all we had was people farming tombs for Lockeds.

Theres more to do in game right now than there ever was. Just need to go out and enjoy urself.

On a brighter note, I am also a player who just returned to the game (again) after a year long break. Usually, I would have buddies that would do me serious favors and gear me out. However, when I returned this time, I was sad to see that at least 98% of the people I knew exactly a year ago were no longer playing the game... I had to start from literally scratch.

First off, I want to mention how ridiculous of a grind it is inbetween levels. Sure, the dailies help a great amount, but after a certain level, it starts to feel like pressing imaginary buttons on your wall. On top of that, there is almost nobody leveling up at the same time so you’d be lucky to even find a leveling buddy.

You mentioned how impossible it is to gear yourself for pvp... I agree with you 100%. To the average player, it is indeed impossible. My new account from late December has purchased over 20,000 plat, and I am not even CLOSE to being well-geared. I don’t have a 15m heroic pet, I don’t have the 100m arcane artifact, my equipment awakenings are only close to par, and heck, I’m still stuck with superb jewels. You would think that after one pays a hefty amount of 20k+ plat, they’d at least be close to geared. I know that to a lot of people, 20k plat is nothing, but seriously... do the math. It is outrageous and frustrating now that I see it, that it would cost you well over a $1000 on a video game to be ALMOST decently geared.

I want you to know that you can just ignore all the irrelevant posts and that you’re not alone. You have a great point... people, myself included, absolutely love this game. Why else would this be my third or fourth time returning to the game? I can say honestly that I have never had more fun playing another game than AL. Unfortunately, that was long ago... the game right now is actually depressing. I’m not really a pve player, but what do you guys do? Run the same map everyday? Wow... nice.... and for us folks that pvp. You wanna know what I do? I visit all the other pvp players’ taverns and sit and chat the whole time I’m online. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?

Justg stated that many things are going to happen this year, and I honestly hope it’s for the best, because all I’m doing right now is selling my 20k+ plat worth of gear because I can sit naked and chat all day long. Thanks for making this post.

I 100% back this up. There are reasons why more people back then have reached cap than people who do now. Even though we only received 1xp per mob, it went pretty quickly because the xp reqs were low and reachable. Then the final level had 10x the reqs, which actually seems better than the way it is now.

The level between -for example- 30 to 31 at least had a combination of other people leveling, and endgame farmers. So you always zone in with people, and the low stat gap between them didnt make the 31s leave when 30s joined the zone.

I'm thinking about how hard it is even for people completely new to the game. I've made secret accounts starting from scratch and its a PAIN to acquire any decent amount of gold to buy what you need. Sure you get maybe a handful of potions and free legendaries the first 10 levels, but that free level 10 legendary can only get you very far. And a new player is going to be chugging pot like no tomorrow so most of the gold they get will be spent on pots and pet food for Barney. Sure it's manageable for some to get to- or at least close to cap, but what do they do then? Keep farming gold drops in ydra using shazbot elixirs to save up money for a leprechaun pendant in this already inflated economy?

150% Agreed. I came back a week ago after a several month hiatus, and i dont even know what i can do, and reaching cap seems very lackluster and discouraging atm.

Ive recently tried to do a new toon from scratch myself. I relly do feel sorry for the new players. Ive been playing this game for years now and still with all the know how i struggled to feed my pet on some days. Ive said this on a previous thread. A lot needs to be done for new players. Daily login bonuses, a huge gold loot bonus that goes down as you level up are just a couple of ways to help them. Curently there is no way to make gold at the lower levels. Hope the devs seriously look into this in the coming expansion. Its all good giving them gear and xp boosts to get to mid levels very fast. But once they are there they can barely feed the pets.

Also on the matter of leveling. I find a good helpful guild to be a must. But most require certain amount of Ap and PvE kills before they will even concider letting you in. As stated before. With hard work its all possible but for a lot of people i do see how this can be discouraging as inflation is making prices rise faster than even the most hardcore farmers can farm. As for the newbies. All i can say is good luck and hang in there. Hopefully sts will make changes to help u.

As for things to do. Theres graveyard, theres maus (if you can get there through the grind), arena, elite cryostar, northal, Map Aps, hauntlet for pve kills, rune farming, fang farming etc.

Theres a lot out there to keep you occupied in game at higher levels. But i guess these days unless it makes you 1m a day people dont want to do it. Compared to farming tombs all day long for locks and pve kills id like to think we got a lot more to do these days. Only downside is PvP where its 200m or die over n over
