Double K.O?

Earlier tonight I was playing my 15 bear, and poooooooot and I killed each other at the same time! This is the first time I've ever even heard of it. Anyone share the experience?

This happens at least once a week for me. I imagine there are far more kills in my games since I'm an end game pvp/ctf player. I typically see this amongst birds and lots of times root will kill the opponent last standing.

This is correct. The cause for these double KOs is the negative health regen - something which a bird's roots does very well.

Theoretically, even a dagger bleed proc can cause a double KO, though almost impossible because of how little the HS debuff.

Lol. I don't do much pvp but when I do I only kill about 2 times a round, and I get killed about 7 times. Our team sometimes win and sometimes lose.

Often times I drain the dead player for health.

Happens a lot. Mostly between birds and Mage but i have had it happen to me while fighting dex bears

It's from a skills delay. I've seen it a lot where one kill is rewarded (as ellyidol said, roots. Root and wall together debuff 50 dodge and 48 HS. As well as daggers and some swords that have a bleed proc). However, in some instances, both kills are rewarded. That is caused by skills delay. When people die, their skills no longer take effect, however, if a skill like lightning or drain that has a longer delay is far into the process when you die, it'll take effect and sometimes kill the enemy (and if it's drain, give you health when you're dead). If it kills em, that's the reason. It is possibly with skills like stomp and blast shot, but they usually require much closer timing.

I get atleast 5 a day

This happened alot of times (3 so far) and funnily enough, it's all when our teams are 9-9. I kill someone, they kill me at same time, so it ends up saying like blue has won, when its 10-10. LOL
