there is pet animacy which allows you to combine pets together and create your dream pet
if you have gold to spend mishi/sam passive as it gives mana and hp regen/mana regen
happiness bonus like lucky is good for extra gold loot which helps when running maos5-6 or elite southern gates
aa depends where you farm, in maos5-6 sns, glowstick, whim
Try thog, then change happiness with heroic fenris^^
mishi/nekro(breeze if need only stuns) as base pet; nekro/glowstick AA; h.magma/h.hawken/h.knk stats

Swift and Gloom are nice for rogues, depending on what maps you're running. Toxy is also great protection, if moving fast isn't a priority!
I love using pet slotting to upgrade pets I've leveled up already. Current favorites I'm using in maus on my long path to Exalted: Malison Nilbog AA/heroic LB Happiness for mobs and Fenris with heroic Fenris AA/Happiness for bosses. The nice thing about slotting is that if you decide you want to change things up, you can unslot and reslot the eggs for minimal cost.
If you've got the gold, and like to run Maus, Heroic Slobber or Fenris are good. Then slot in Nilbog into the AA.
