Lol, ofc it was intentional! How else to get ppl popping open all those Hugthulu crates that just rained down on us from Lovecrafting enent! Kudos to the evil masterminds at STS! 4 fossils and 2 shards! Oh my!

I have a feeling for it to cost that many shards and fossils to craft, there must be some type of extra drop rate for them in the near future. That or it's intended to be one rare pet.
