I wouldn't even use the gun unless you want to pvp. Always have liked staffs more.
As for the proc, debuff for pvp and hope they walk into your procs.

Blaster because it gives you more damage etc, the other wep is decent but it wont kill fast.

Btw in my opinion i think it will be better to use Hex staff for mobs and blaster gun for boss.
What to you guys think.?

the proc can spawn a pickup that buffs you with %10 crit or %100 crit, same with dmg

When you pick up the buff and it reads "SUPER [buff]" you get the higher one. I.e for crit you can have 2 buffs, a little one (I forgot what's the text for it) and a huge one that reads "super critical". Same for the damage buffs. Hope you could understand it lol.
