Im not very impressed with the stat buffs and think that if i stayed with an arc ring with an armor buff, arc pend, and arc belt my stats would still be better than with the set. What are your opinons?

The egg set is irrelavant anyway, I wouldn't give up venom set even if the egg set buff had the same stat buff as tainted set.

The egg set is supposed to be the best ring/amulet/belt at lvl66, as well as the Tainted set. but if you’re in mausoleum then the map bonus sets like the nightmare set will give better stats. Also not many people will trade their ss for egg set, but if you’re an arc ring/amulet user then the egg set is alot better.

Until sts add 200% movement speed in set bonuses , venom sets will always be 1st choice ring and amulet for me

People got so addicted to speed sets that I no matter how good these Egg sets will be, people won't sacrifice the speed for the stat anymore.

Instead of adding speed id prefer if speed sets and certain other set bonuses stopped working past level 66 and we start over with new gear.

A lot has happened that cant be changed, but a new level cap gives the opportunity to move forward in a different direction. Just my 2 cents on speed sets.

If they take this approach to the new level cap everyone will just stay at 60-66 to continue to use their favorite gears. Also this will mean that lvl67+ players will have a disadvantage for speed runs and the speed efficiency for farming maps. Since they already implemented it into the game they can only find ways to make it fair. Not to mention the majority of complaints about ss is mainly in pvp. I think the idea for “Pvp only gear” will benefit the situation so Ss isn’t removed or “abused” at the new level cap.

Also considering how difficult/profitable the new expansion content will be, players might be forced to use level appropriate gears to play and continue throughout the expansion. (The player will have to use the rings/amulets like the eggshell set for the STATS to be able to play at those difficult levels, SS will simply be too weak/inefficient)

I think I mentioned this before but the only way you could probably phase out the speed sets (in PvP anyway) would be to introduce 200%(+) movement speed mounts to the game.

- You would not be able to equip a speed set and a mount at the same time.

- You get dismounted when you get hit.

- You cannot remount in combat/in the combat stance.

Honestly, it would also be a great new addition to the game. Imagine riding bosses like arachna, alragan or tarlok to even mention a few.

There may have to be a new HUD icon for this or it could use a emote slot like the new jetpack.

I’m still trying too still get a belt for a Rogue they never drop from bun bun eggs & I refuse too pay 5Mill for one when an Arcane Belt is that price !!! So Do you not think it’s worth me carrying trying too finish this Set ?

Yeah no, I'd recommend just going for arc belt, arc ring, arc pend, that is for optimal stats
unless of course you want to go speed, that works too

Well Im using the Egg pendant instead of my Planar pendant its brought up my stats, Only got my Old Faithful Arcane L41 Didn't get the other Arcane rings all a sudden the L52 became the L54 price & the L54 became the Arcane belt price �� But when I wore the egg ring with finnesse in both ring & pendant then when 1 Belt was in Auction filled with Fury gems I tried it on & it worked perfect it put my strenth back up as my strength disappeared with just the ring. But I refused too pay 5.5mill I think they wanted for it, Now Theirs None Any where �� Not opening anymore of those damn Bun Buns & getting rare or damage Elixirs but mostly all Rare Armour,Helms,Weapons......
Guess I try hang out for a Belt & just use what I got.
The ring and pendant are dropping Rapidly in price & probably going too be 300/400K.
If it takes too long I’ll take your advice �� And Save for L54 Arcane pendant & Arcane Belt. Thank You ����

Oh BS I cant afford too get an Arcane Belt Those prices for Rogues Belts are Taking “The &€§§”. Yesterday 9Million WTF ....
And the L54 Pendent is the same.
So Im !!!!!! I was counting on that Egg Set Too go with my Tainted.
Now I Can Get Nothing (Downer) I thought the Dev’s said this was suppose too be Brilliant Set .

I HATE Speed sets !!! In events their no point they are 2rooms ahead or finshed and your in the first room.
Theirs no point running events with players wearing speed sets, “ Yea I Know Go Buy One “ .....................................
No I dont have 4Mill too waste on a Toxic ring and pendant.
I pray these dont come out on higher Levels or you should split Events For Speed player Events & Normal Player Events and even out the score for players......
It’s getting too the stage their no point running events when you cant get energy by farming bc of speed sets...

I have the Eggshell set , I like it just fine. I think it will prove itself in the expansion when the other sets wont work. I started the Mausoleum with pinks then put together the voice set. Never had Arc belt or NM pieces , I didn’t see the need for them. I have a speed set lvl 30 but only use it for farming lower maps. I would never use it in maus , except to run back to boss, then regear. Good Luck deciding which gears to use.
