I can't rename my pet (using platinum)

I tried to rename my pet using platinum yesterday and noticed that it isn't possible. I can go to stable - other - rename and type the new name but it just doesn't change. I asked some of my friends if they have same problem and yes, they do.
I'm using Android.

I'm not falling for that. I'd rather never be able to rename a pet than "accidentally" purchase things I did not intend too. Glad there is a work around but I'd prefer a fix.

Yeah tho I turned them instantly on after I renamed pet haha

Odd tho, because I have plat confirm purchase toggled on iPhone, and I can rename pet. (:
