New Game 2018?

We are a long long way from the next STS game and devs do have a lot more to focus on this year but they have been pretty active on forum so i am taking a shot.

I was wondering the next genre of game STS is planning to make. I know it is very unlikely to be an MMO but there is still tons of options. Any ~shifty eyes~?

Perhaps a type of games the AL community feel would be really cool?

I personally like how Epic has made Fortnite and revolutionized shooting game with the building elements while in combat.

That is not a good business model and a bit upsetting to hear such a narrow but loyal perpective.

People will always strive to the best content and it is unfair to expect people to stick to a game because they are unaware of other games ( that are good). I play many different games and I always come back to AL because of how good it is. Imagine someone still playing some game like "XYZ" where people dont know about AL but stuck with a boring game. Is it not unfair that you and I get to play such a good game like AL and Player A in "XYZ" is not?

I think learning and improving existing ideas are the way to go e.g. Fornite is an improved version of PUBG and Fornite is way more popular than PUBG. ( No hate Please).

I am Loyal to AL and I know many others are in AL.

Thanks for the response. Loving all that is happening in AL and other legends game. I dont really play the others but I do read the stuff there and you guys are doing an amazing job. STS has really done well this year and have lived upto the letter to the community posted at the beginning of the year. We are all very entertained, happy and delighted. While there has been numerous changes/improvements in events, some more liked than others; My favourite change is the feedback request at the end of the event because it is shows STS cares about content quality, future improvements and interest in playerbase. I couldn't be anymore happy with AL... except maybe if Justg clearing his storage for PMs haha.

You guys should be able to tell we are cranking out tons of things for you, both in AL and a couple of our legacy games. We hope everyone is happy with the pace and quality of new content and events.

We're also working on a new little game that we think some of you will really enjoy. It is not an MMO, and it is not (yet another) PUBG-type battle royale. There are a couple of amazing ones of those out already!

We'll let you know more in a couple of months. Until then, please continue to enjoy the fun things we have in store for you with the existing Legends games.

I personally think this is a bad idea. As I can remember since level 46 cap STS is trying to make a new game which is more succesfull than AL. They uploaded a couple of new games which costed a lot of money and invested time, which means they couldn't spend that much time into AL backthen. People started to complain a lot about the new games, and yet they focus fully at AL and still isn't good enough for you?:v. Be glad they focus on AL, their events are better and bigger than before, you should be thankful!

If STS didn’t strive to make a new game each year then Arcane legend wouldn’t exist; They would have just made pocket legend in 2010 and keep improving it ( arcane legend released in 2012) . If you read my comments above, you will see how thankful I am but it’s a fact that a majority of the gaming money is where the “Battle Royale” are at the moment.

I tried to convince a lot of people that I used to play with back in 2013 to come back to AL but they feel the game is ‘out dated’ or ‘old’ ( no hate please).

Of course people will complain if the new game isn’t good, that’s with EVERY game. Look at how a majority of COD community has moved away from Call of Duty into different games even though they were one of the most popular fps. If sts doesn’t move forward like they do, they will be playing catching up instead of innovation and that’s why I love that they create new game each year.

Also keep in mind that not every idea is successful. A majority of things are trial and error ( it’s risky but if nothing is risked or invested, nothing is gained). Focus on AL is great and I have wanted that all of last year but there is a limit for STS success by improving AL. Whereas, making a new game with better technology, experience and personal development has more potential for growth and success if done right.

For those of you translating this: Ask a friend ( who speaks English well), what I am trying to convey.

P.s. it’s not nice to imply sts devs suck at making new games and should just stick to Al mhysaa. You should encourge them instead to make better games that other people can enjoy too and not just the current community. I believe in them!!!
